I decided to make this one because i hate that the PG-300 is selling for more than the synths.
I hope to bang it out before christmas as a gift for all you A-Juno owners, a virtual
PG-300 down to the last detail!! Ctrlr is the greatest midi controller tool period. thanks Atom!

Hi just a heads up to anyone that is struggling to get this working.

It took me a while to firgure this out but Iv found that changing the value of the number 4 sysex message from 00 to 0F (alpha juno 2) gets the panel working for me.

                i.e

                F0 41 36 0F 23 20 01 10 XX F7 (for filter cutoff)

                instead of

                F0 41 36 00 23 20 01 10 XX F7

Edited panel attached seems to be fully working for me,,,

                Cheers Jamie

yeah, by default it responds to channel 1. (which is the 00 value in the sysex header)

I updated the panel, it can now be set to any of the 16 midi channels via the channel selector.

hi, i get my alpha juno today and then discovered this site.
my greetings for this project, i have a problem. I’m on macosx lion, with motu ultralite audio/midi interface.

I have installed CTRLR downloaded the panel on this topic from the library, connect motu midi out to alpha juno midi in
configured the CTRLR options but when i move somethings on the software, nothing happens on the synth.

Alpha juno is in midi mode EXCL = ON and midi channel is set to 1

                          tnx

can you control it with another editor?

hello, Layzer2! thank you a lot for this panel!! after a long delay, i am back to my synths and i managed to have your panel working now with an MKS-50. however, only in the omni=ON mode. i setup the MIDI channel required for me (6th) in both "manual" field and editing the panel:

                              manual = 6
                              midi input channel = 0
                              midi output channel = 6
midi input device = No device
panel wants vst midi input = yes
                              midi thru = yes

if i switch MKS-50 to OMNI = off, the panel does not work. probably, have i still problems in my setup?
my DAW is ableton live, latest stable Ctrlr VST build.

                                http://xmidi.com/blog/alpha-juno-control/

but dont like how it automates and how its standalone only…

can’t wait to be in my studio!
