      Hi,

I am a newbie, and just started to figure out how CtrLr works. But I want to control my dmx light with DMXIS which is triggered by MIDI but you have to select a bank and a preset inorder for a light scene to work, I want to program one button in CtrLr that will send both of these notes.

I have it working in separate buttons, so I know it can be done, I have one button sending a note on channel 15 and another on channel 16, I just need both of these to execute with one button press.

This is the example of what I need for two buttons, each that executes 2 notes:

      Button#1
      MIDI message type: NoteOn
      MIDI CHANNEL: 15
      Midi Controller Number: 0

      MIDI message type: NoteOn
      MIDI CHANNEL: 16
      Midi Controller Number: 3

      Button#2
      MIDI message type: NoteOn
      MIDI CHANNEL: 15
      Midi Controller Number: 2

      MIDI message type: NoteOn
      MIDI CHANNEL: 16
      Midi Controller Number: 2

Thanks in advance as I have been trying with the Multi with no result yet

As far as I know there is no way to send on more than one channel even with Multi messages. You have to make a small Lua script. If you are interested I will help you put it together.

Here an example panel. I attached the scripts “Button1” and “Button2” to the buttons on “called when a mouse is down on this component”. You can see the scripts when selecting menu Panel > LUA Editor.

If it does not work for you or if you have questions, just ask.
