      the ‘Failed’ message seems to have changed in the
      Version: 5.4.29 Lua compiler: it used to report the
      line where the method failed.

      is this intentional? it was useful.
      will it be restored? am i using the correct current
      version? i just had to re-install, and selected the
      most recent file i could see – the download page has
      changed its look.

      (which was the last version that displayed the
      ‘failed’ line? can’t remember which version i was
      using recently)
