I’m unable to get the right sysex. I tried to write a sysex message (see above) but no luck. Nothing would be transmitted…
Could somebody give me a hint?
Best, highlander

Have you set a MIDI output from the MIDI menu at the top.
Have you checked that MIDI is being transmitted using the MIDI Monitor?

Hope you haven’t given up on this project. Have a look at the Matrix-1000 panel the guys here have been working on: http://ctrlr.org/forums/topic/question-about-oberheim-matrix1000-panel/
Compare the Oberheim MIDI tables for for the Matrix-1000 with the working of the panel and then adapt for your Matrix-6R MIDI tables. This might save you some effort, as Atom set up a very well organised panel in the first instance.

Here is some noise I organised into an acceptable format:

I use this 7 bytes string to change the DCO Frq 1:
F0 10 06 06 00 XX F7
The Midi Monitor confirmed the Values are send out, but nothing happens with the Matrix6.
Then i check another M6 editor to see what happens and see there….
A 5 bytes long string was send before the 7 bytes string was react to the M6.
F0 10 06 05 F7 and then:
F0 10 06 06 00 00 F7
This work, the M6 will change the Values.
How can i realize this with Ctrlr?
I take a look to the Matrix 1000 thread and install this patch and the hex string looks like my hex string. The data will send out but nothing happens with the M6.
Any ideas?

It seems to be work, not directly in this way but i figure out how. Now i can change the frequency parameter in my M6.
Maybe i can reedit the very nice Matrix 1000 Panel, but i will ask the Author before. cheers again….best from Hamburg 🙂January 20, 2016 at 8:06 pm #68051To my knowledge, the Ctrlr community encourages you to edit panels from other people. At least as long as there is no copyright disclaimer on startup. I learned and copyed a lot from other panels.
