I have been trying to get started making a Ctrlr for the TE OP-Z but I can’t even get the basics to work.

I used the Midi Monitor to establish that turning one of the encoder dials sends CC messages on a particular channel and with a particular controller number.

Then, I added a control in Ctrlr and set the MIDI channel to that channel with “override panel channel” and with that controller number, with CC messages.

But the controller does not update when the CC messages are sent and according to the output monitor, turning the controller does not send any messages either.

Is there something else I have to do to make it actually engage?

Maybe attach the panel here then I could have a look. You don’t need to set “override panel channel”, just set the right channel in the midi settings. This way tha controller will work with any channel.

In order to get a slider working you have to switch “panel mode” so that you don’t see the edit panel at the right.
