I am exporting the instance of a panel as VST on windows.
No matter what name I give to my panel, it’s always seen as “Ctrlr-Vst” in the DAW…
is it possible to rename the expotred instance to something else ???

on Reaper it will show correct name on x64 version of the plugin. x86 version only has a default name.

When I export as VST in Reaper I do not have the choice for 32 or 64 bit.
I suppose it takes the same format as the ctrlr VST. Anyway, in 64bit Reaper, all exported dll’s have same name. I call it 123.dll for example, it got saved as 123.dll on the harddrive but in Reaper plugin browser it is called ctrlr.dll again….

When you export with ctrlr-x86 it will be a 32-bit plugin. When you export with ctrlr-x64 it will be a 64-bit plugin. x86 will show default name. But in Reaper this is no problem – you can rename plugins in Reaper.

Hi, as daimondsamp said, you need to input all info fields of the panel.
I’m using 5.3.201 and just did my first VST which is not working but has the good name (Panel name property) in Studio One and appears under the correct vendor (Panel author name property)
