update: that is a bug with UITabs: if you remove the
names on the tabs, it opens up like that afterwards.
no way of getting it back, it seems. this is what that
was supposed to look like, see attached file:
(this must be to do with the way children objects don’t
update when you edit higher level things like container
and tabs – can’t find it anymore?

          Hi Humanfly 🙂
Following this thread closely; from pages over on gearslutz.
I’m a roland d110 long time owner, and I’d love to try out your editor! The potential of this synth is immense, I’ve been waiting years for a decent editor to surface.
I use a similar editor for a Yamaha tx81z, and that works great. Where can I get my hands on this editor?

I’ll give it a go. Do ctrlr panels work as vsts? Or is this purely standalone
Do you have any screenshots of the panel? Curious. (I’m at work at the moment)

ok, i think i’ve succeeded in drafting for 32bit.
the last one looked a bit odd, was not opening as
an exe. same version of the file. please report
back whether it runs or not, thanks

It opens up OK, can’t seem to get it to send anything to the D110 yet. It could be I have a connection problem here, I’ll have another look around ‘back.

set the MIDI output to your usb-midi device. i’ve checked it
here and it seems to be working.

I still can’t get the settings to take effect for some reason, keyboard works OK though. It sends to the d110 when I click Send Snapshot, but the d110 doesn’t respond (apart from keyboard). I’m going to try on another computer.

here’s the Rhythm part for testing. i don’t know for sure
that the sysex is all correct, ie: addressing the right drum.
i messed it all up first time, but this should be it.
for this one, i DO recommend doing a quick backup dump, because
Rhythm edit is, i think a System setting, and not resettable
                              with a Patch change:

don’t bother doing snapshots, i haven’t catered for that. it won’t
update or fetch parameters from the D-110, it is only one way,
ie: just connect your PC midi out to the D-110 midi in. and when
you tweak a fader, it should make the D-110 respond. you will see
                                the MIDI activity LED blink.
make sure your machine is set as unit#17, and basic channel1.

you can check it with midiox. working at this end. not tried
                                with D-110 yet though.

check it out,(euphoria)…Lua action ! this is work
on getting the Wave/PCM list selection to be a bit more
sophisticated. some way to go yet: getting options to

is there anyone out there who can draft the standalone for
me on a Mac? i’m getting requests for a Mac version.
                                        (can i install a virtual Mac on a PC? i’m useless at this stuff;
will do it if it won’t kill my system, same for Linux. don’t
really want multi-boot, just something i can open within Windows10)

new structure selection control ideas; you can run this as
an exe (64bit Win only) it’s a working demo of what i mentioned
                                            above, if anyone’s interested.

check how different combinations of S & P reveal corresponding
combos and different wave lists. this will be incorporated into
                                            the main panel (slicker).

still looking for someone to help me draft Linux and Mac versions..
