I couldn’t get anything on linux, running the standalone ctrlr in WINE (debian x64) just hung very badly and spawned ~100 duplicate processes…. I’ll try it on some more linuxes (3 more to go!) and see what happens. It might be just the 32 bit standalone version that it doesn’t like. Finally got my hands on a 64bit windows machine to test.

Easiest to have a separate machine, unless you want to run either windows or linux in a VM. I use Debian, MATE desktop because it’s quick, no fancy transitions/graphics. x64 just because it can use more ram.

                well my other 2 machines are down, in need of repair or i would;
for Linux at least. i have to get others to draft it for me. only
the current standalone right now, i’m moving on with improvements,
not ready a new version yet.

update: here’s a (64bit) exe (nonworking)demo of it as full 8 part version,
                      just for a look
                      https://app.box.com/s/n9h76pu1yevjblrp7cqtgnot3rpmlksi

huge amount of work, messed it up several times, still has
all the sysex to do/re-do. (plus rhythm part, etc. … )
(can draft as 32bit if anyone wants)

I’ll have a look today, along with the previous version! 64bit should be OK for me, at least for now.

My native linux CTRLR version is 5.4.0, it will accept .panel or .panelz extensions. Running windows things in linux is hit and miss, some things work well, others not. Zip is fine. 64bit windows machine is at work.

update: here’s a look at a new section for waveform selection,
and partial mutes. it only shows the options available according
to structure selection or PCM Bank selection. there are now
separate lists, synced, for pcm names. partial onoff now hides
unused partial parameters and leds indicate which member of a
partial pair remains active(at both structure inputs).
trying to learn a bit of Lua..

here is what 5stage time-level envelopes for D-110
                                      could look like (demo)

                                      (exe in zip/win64, bpanelz later/4.9mb)

new structure and waveform selection section, and there’s
supposed to be a popop menu and a dialog box that were
working but i can’t see now. 🙁 (?why?)
