Hi everybody. I’m brand new to this, and honestly, most of this is over my head. The reason I got the program was so I could program some patches for the nord stage 2 and then send those to my keyboard player. I don’t have a nord stage, but I want to be able to program some synth patches and then he can just load them right on his board.

My question is, is there a way to use my novation midi controller with Ctrlr so I can hear what my settings sound like in the panel? If so, I’m not sure how to do it. I’ve set all of the midi in and midi controller options to my novation impulse. I’m not hearing any audio from the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, if I understand well your issue you want to have a Nord Stage 2 sound module in software. Right?
Ctrlr is not a sound module but a tool to build panels to control any sound module (synths…).
You should try finding a VST reproducing the NS2 (if any) and able to export NS2 sysex that you would send to your keyboard player…

or perhaps simply a VSTi able to produce similar patches,
and then both work with that, and your kb player works
from that at the other end.

i’m not sure but perhaps synth1 (if i remember the name
correctly) could do the job, and it is free.
