for windows, you open Ctrlr.dll/VST version in your VST host,
load your panel, and exported a restricted VST instance.
(from memory when i tested this)

btw: i couldn’t find the dll files recently: on install, they
are placed in program files>vst plugins folder. (i don’t generally
use this, so i forgot to look there)

having figured out that a *.panel is the raw file without resources,
and a *bpanelz is the exported version, with resources, does it matter
which type you load for export to VST?

(are you the author of seq303 ? )

            wow humanfly,
seq-303 is amazing. one of my most favorite controller software 🙂
I mean, is there anything cooler than using the gang function on a VCF frequency sequence 🙂
            nice falshback

              totally, seq303 = the bizness.
there was a batch of very funky softsynths
              just before the VST explosion.

i’ve got 5.4.29 onboard at the moment.
was running 5.4.2 before, and 5.2 something
before that. only saw a couple of changes in
the properties pane, other than that it seems
the same. this version doesn’t tell you what
line your Lua method failed at. it’s either
‘ok’ or ‘failed’ – you only get clues if it
fails when run in the panel. i think it was
more helpful before – if your thing won’t compile,
it’s useful to know where it is failing.

so you could install 5.4.2 if you’re starting to
              mess with Lua.

                Hello,

Yes the Step Sequencer is TOP 🙂 I love it to!

first times thank you. I have created yesterday a dll but unfortunately not all png files are taken over. I look at what it is. Does the whole synonymous meim MAC as AU? Where do you live ?

                Greeting Michael

it seems that *.bpanelz is the format to use to distribute
files that can be loaded with Mac. you probably need that
to load into the Ctrlr VST. i haven’t tried it lately, but
remember drafting other panels as ‘restricted’ VSTi’s, so
those must have been *.bpanelz files, as opposed to *.panel.

                  France!
