      Ctrlr really is great software.

However, there are about 3 people who know how to use it to make panels. The rest of us are just useless. Most people just give up. It’s a shame because Ctrlr can do a lot. The sort of people who know how to make Ctrlr panels without any sort of difficulty are probably not musicians, they are probably primarily coders. A series of video tutorials could help those who can not understand how this thing works from reading the one page tutorial that Atom has kindly made.

If one of you genius experts would do a screencast series of tutorials that would be great. Then there will be many more people contributing to Ctrlr due to actually knowing how it works.

If you actually want Ctrlr to be recognized for what it is, need to communicate that value in the medium of the day, which is the screencast tutorial.

Some sort of screencast (series) would be fantastic indeed!

Either way, for us still struggling to build things using Ctrlr some proper documentation of each step is a good way to condense your own knowledge and what you are learning.

Maybe we can set up a wiki with some guides on many of the common problems and design issues?

There was at least one screencast i did some time ago on vimeo

it uses an old version of Ctrlr with those nasty color icons, but the idea stays the same.

I’ll try to update it to something more current and maybe a bit more advanced.
