Importing plugins can be done, but what should Ctrlr do with them ?
maybe send and recive midi to them/from them
there are many many vst and some of them needs special controls
I mean would be cool if you can build a new panel , and add vst / vsti to it , and then assign new controls for effects or any connection that user would like to do..
idk but maybe with features like these CTRLR can became a new daw soft
It’s not impossible, but this sort of REALTIME stuff requires multi-threading and those things are always complicated.
ok , anyway it works now from usine , but would be cool if some day you can import vst and vsti to ctrlr
Not now no, there is no thread safe time based stuff yet, this requires some low level coding.
So , maybe in a future will be possible 🙂
YOu are using a very old version of Ctrlr (Stable i assume, use the Nightly there is much more there)
howww… maybe thats the reason why i cant see the device database , ok then downloading and installing the nightly version , sounds good nightly

And IMO ctrlr is already helping MIDI. More ppl need to know about it. I tell all my music mates about it. Ctrlr rocks!
yes it does 😀 i enjoy so much the way i could use ctrlr with my touchscreen , all i can say is my slave daw mixer in all my projects 😛
sorry this is a very basic question “how do i get the editor to send midi (messages) to the hardware” ? a brief of what I’m doing and have done so far:
-using evolver desktop
-midi hooked up to audio 8 card which is all hooked up to logic
– evolver receiving midi from logic and audio 8 i.e. it plays when i hit play in logic
– have downloaded ctrlr and also a evolver template linked here
– got the ctrlr vat open fine with template in logic – the templates parameters move with automations i have tested
– midi (audio is selected in ctrlr so basically everything seems fine in logic, it shows as a vat and is functional, but there are no changes in the evolver when adjusting a knob. It must be something really basic in the ctrlr software setting as i have run it stand alone and can’t get it working either. Very new to editors this so many thanks for any info at all. cheers.You need a “virtual midi cable” that means you need a software like :
Midiyoke , LoopMidi, Loopbe , etc etc…
then just connect all output/input , dont use your soundcard in this , it may loose some midi data i think , or maybe wont work because the midi is in use by another application
But how i do to open it in my daw? i want to open it in usine .. I tryed dragging the exe but nothing

If i export the panel in my daw , still the same Panel extension , in witch way i must export to get the DLL?

thats awesome 😀 i dind get to that point but also synthesizers must have 30 -40 years 😀 wow my dad start with that analog machines and now im playing this new digital interfaces , but also is possible to emulate any analogs , music scene is massive , as massive 😀
but how i do ? i must convert a panel to a dll ? or i must put the panels in my vst folder ?
