Beta (win32 only)

Beta (win32 only)

Postby atom » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:35 pm

is up on the page. it uses CCs (not NRPNs or SysEx), i tried reading the DOC and the PDF and the webpage, and it's one of those "messy cause i like it messy" midi implementations that's complicated for no reason.

Anyway try it, some parameters should work some might not, let me know what works and what doesn't i'll fix it asap. Mac build will be available on monday cause once again i don't have a MAC at home and it doesn't look i'll be able to run hackintosh on my new laptop.

Wow.
Very good work....
My mks30 is currently on the service bench because of the dreaded voice chip problem. But will have it back within the week so i will test the ctrlr and report back.

Regarding the specification.... you are right.
by it self mks30 is midi-retard.
the older versions of the new firmware are also hopelessly complicated. you need a diploma in Deciphering Ancient texts in order to understand how to do anything.... add to the fact that the writer's first language is obviously not english ... ;)

thankfully the last revision of the enchanced firmware (3.6) adds Midi CC control.....

and with your help a very underated synth is having its power unleashed......in the daw (automation etc)

as i said when i get it back (hopefully this week) i will report back... thanks for all the great work...

First of all thanks for your great work....
I got the mks30 back from the repair shop.
its fine now...(one voice chip had gone bad.)
yesterday i tried some of the knobs (like LFO,Cutoff,RES) and it worked ... today im going to try to test the plugin more thoroughly...... will report any findings....

Wow,

I remember a guy was selling an MKS-30 "upgrade" while back but are you telling me my baby just needs a Roland firmware upgrade and I'm done?
If you can tell me more about the benefits I'd be thankful.
