      Hi,
Having lots of stability issues with Ctrlr 5.4.11, 5.4.14, 5.4.16. I am having problems both on Linux Fedora 24/35 and Windows 7.

Many Panels crash if I try to load them (For example the TX7 and DX7 panels)
Other panels crash at some point if I try to use them. It’s very frustrating and time consuming. So I decided to install a slightly older version: 5.3.201

Many of the crashes don’t occur anymore and it’s workable again. Are more people experiencing stability issues with Ctrlr 5.4.x that they did not have with 5.3.x?

Find the first crash cause, what panel what happens when it crashes, what OS/build and report it on GitHub please, i’ll try to help/solve the issue, but i need a more detailed description of the problem.

I have to do more testing to find where and when crashes occur to be able to produce a more useful bugreport. I will keep my eyes open.

One thing I have noticed already: Could it be the lua bit library is not supported anymore? I remember reading something about that somewhere?

          something like
          bit.rshift(15, 2)

works fine on my Ctrlr-5.3.201 (Linux 64 bits version from the website “Downloads” section) but crashes Ctrlr-5.4.16 immediately if used by a panel.
Tiny example attached, ctrlr-console window needs to be open to see what it does.

i bumped into the same problems and rewrote all my bit-manipulating routines with CtrlrLuaBigInteger. that worked for me.
