DSI Mono Evolver Editor 0.7:
– All Labels and groups are gone, replaced with picture to avoid gui problems & clean up the code.
– Real knob names are hidden, every knob has now different name so that it make sense (Osc1Frq, LPF Res,..), altough they won’t show up correctly for some reason, even ctrlr shows me "UiFixedSlider: Modulator 3" when holding mouse over the knob.
– Some blank space on every edge for edit mode access.
– More chilled colors, maybe some alternatives later..[attachment=0:aq5xdd29]Evo07preview.jpg[/attachment:aq5xdd29]
I don’t know if the picture is included in .panel, so I added it to zip too.
Here’s the first version (0.6…?):

^Full imageStill needs some fine-tuning, but everything essential should be there.
One major thing where I can’t find a way to fix:
When you reload the template, Oscillators -group jumps in front of Envelope 3 -group, so Oscillators -group has to be sent in back everytime. (right click at thin blank space at the bottom, enter edit -mode, right click little below oscillator "1" -> layout: send to back, exit edit mode.)Second, LFO Key Sync works by scrolling amount knob over 100, Key Sync button will just add value of 100 (or 99) to amount, so I could not find better solution yet.
Third, how can I rename those knobs, so they won’t show as modulator_1, modulator_2,.. ?
Made with Mono Evolver Keyboard version, but I think it should work with desktop one too? I have mine set to channel 2, but it didn’t seem to matter if I changed the channel.
I tried to make it resemble the layout of the Mono Evolver Keyboard, which i’m used to.
[u:aq5xdd29]Some bugs & improvement for the CTRLR in the same post:[/u:aq5xdd29]
– Knobs send midi and change value while dragging
– Toggle Button can’t be pressed from center, just at the right spot from edge
– When you minimize some things from panel (modulator, component..), they could stay that way when your moving on to next knob, so you would’nt have to scroll down everytime to change sysex data, etc.April 14, 2011 at 2:40 pm #2830very cool, i’ll try to fix those UI bugs you mentioned. I just did some fixes for negative values so for stuff like -127 – 127 there will be a nice fix you’ll be able to update that.
Can you tell me more about the toggle button issue ?is this a bug or you just did a toggle button + label that’s why the label does not react to mouse events ?
April 14, 2011 at 2:52 pm #2831Toggle button seem to work perfectly now, I have just dragged grunge text little over the button.. ” title=”Smile” />
Maybe I had them too close to fader in earlier versions.edit: updated the template to fix grunge button.
April 14, 2011 at 6:48 pm #2832btw. Is it possible to create button which will send NoteOn on mouse click and stop it on release?
I’ve managed to create button that send NoteOn values 0 & 1, but I’ll have to press it second time to stop. Finally I can build qwerty-keyboard plugin for E-mu ESI-2000 to rename samples quickly.
April 14, 2011 at 7:15 pm #2833well i just added a MidiKeyboard component so yes it will be possible. Next build will have that.
April 14, 2011 at 7:18 pm #2834i’m waiting for the availability of tabs to go to this kind of Architecture

April 14, 2011 at 9:41 pm #2823nice looking panels!
April 14, 2011 at 9:43 pm #2824aksoni, I think you may have somehow locked the panel you attached. I cant get into edit mode to see the component properties. ” title=”Sad” /> I like how you have set up the sequencer steps to display their note values… exactly how’d you do that?
April 14, 2011 at 10:33 pm #2829one note to that gr8 panel (in debug mode it takes about a minute to open ” title=”Smile” />)
name your modulators, all of them are named modualator… you need to name them, the names you give them will be exported to the VST/AU Host.

How? Every slider has the name it says under it (frequency, fine..), many of them have the share the same name, is that the problem?
I’d like to keep them way they are and have sequencer show something like "Osc1Frq"."nrhyan":vhjchbno wrote:aksoni, I think you may have somehow locked the panel you attached. I cant get into edit mode to see the component properties. ” title=”Sad” />[/quote:vhjchbno]
You need some precision for this, there is a thin dark blue space at the bottom to enter edit mode. ” title=”Smile” />"nrhyan":vhjchbno wrote:I like how you have set up the sequencer steps to display their note values… exactly how’d you do that?[/quote:vhjchbno]
Make FixedSlider, type notes in the Slider contents.April 15, 2011 at 6:14 am #2828and I’m in! ” title=”Smile” />
If you finish any more panels I know I’d love to so them. Thanks for sharing.

Cool, MidiKeyboard works fine, add that ability for single button and Esi-Keyboard will be twice as fast to use. Still way faster at the moment on double-click method compared to ESI panel ” title=”Smile” />

Don’t know if it’s worth uploading, I might be the only one who has use for it.One with touch-screen could make some interesting things with midi-note buttons.
April 17, 2011 at 1:20 am #2826yeah you can use the onboard keyboard i did, i think it will be easier to use.

– Download + install CTRLR (if you haven’t already)
– Download "Mono Evolver Editor 0.7.zip" from first post attachments
– Extract and open .panel in CTRLR
” title=”Smile” />There is a much cleaner panel coming up when I find some time with Evolver to finish it.

I have been quite busy for a while and evolver has been quite unsused due to knob problems, BUT: I received Pot Edition panel couple weeks ago and I have 2 days off work, so I’ll try to upload new version in few days. ” title=”Smile” /> -
