      Hi,

I want to do an editor for the Yamaha FB-01. In the past i’ve done partial editors in the Logic environment and Max. The greatest challenge for the FB-01 is that a single sysex command shares LSB/MSB from 2 synth functions. An example is the [b:2ritn1kq]release[/b:2ritn1kq] and [b:2ritn1kq]sustain[/b:2ritn1kq] which share one sysex string:

      F0-43-10-15-57-LSB[/color:2ritn1kq]-MSB[/color:2ritn1kq]-F7

      The [b:2ritn1kq]release[/b:2ritn1kq] defines [LSB][/color:2ritn1kq]
      The [b:2ritn1kq]sustain[/b:2ritn1kq] defines [MSB][/color:2ritn1kq]

Could someone explain how to set this up?

      thanks

Could you be a bit more specific. Does this mean that the one sysex message sets both the release and the sustain ? or does it just send the MSB part of the sustain and the LSB part of the release ? I think there would be a second message that would hold the corresponding lsb/msb to the ones you specified.
