to assign a value of a Ctrlr panel’s global variable k0 in a Lua script is it as simple as just, say :
"k0 = blah" or is there special syntax needed to set a global variable via Lua?

or…. could you add a checksum to the sysex editor’s right click that adds sysex index5 + index6 + 7Fh? … this would be for the waldorf microwave XT and might be useful w/ other waldorf synths… otherwise I can have the indices passed to variables, add them together with 7Fh in a Lua script I believe.

The API docs mention the methods needed to get that done: api/class_ctrlr_panel.html
