I just wanted to ask anyone with the Maschine software to see if the parameter names are loaded when dealing with Reaktor as a plugin, my friend with Maschine says that it loads the names on the run as they’re changed in Reaktor so that would mean it’s somehow possible to force Maschine to re-read the parameter names. Maybe NI could share the secret on how they’re doing that and i could implement this in Ctrlr.

hi, i wanted to answer in this thread anyway. a friend of mine has maschine (mac), and actually maschine [i:ttfl0yhr]does[/i:ttfl0yhr] reading parameter names of all vsts/au, no problem! AND it also does reading parameter names of ctrlr when you take the au! <img decoding=” title=”Wink” /> just save and reload the project, et voila. it’s only the vst version of ctrlr which makes this "problems". what maschine can [i:ttfl0yhr]not[/i:ttfl0yhr] do is, reading the parameter "value names".
i’m thinking about purchaising maschine, too (or waiting for mpc renaissance?). it also could be a great controller for ctrlr (if i think about the automation possibilities..)

Thanks ETF, I never thought to try the AU – I always use VST’s in Maschine. But yes you are abs correct – the AU does load the parameter names and it works perfectly and allows automation via parameter name which is so much easier.

Atom, the only thing that appears not to work now is changing the values of the Octave in each of the Oscillators…I suppose this is down to what ETF says that it cannot read/control the parameter values? or not?

Also do you have any news on a 64 bit version of CTRLR?

64bit versions is something i never tried on the MAC cause i don’t know how to test them, do i need a 64bit kernel and a 64bit host ? or can i just run it on a normal OS.

As for the Octave, what is not working, the automation from host, or when you click on different octaves nothing happens on the synth ?

Hey, I have the very helpful Mouge Voyeur editor for the Voyager, and I’m running in Logic.

Mostly all working, appart from ON/OFF switches from the voyager itself. I can use the switches within the CTRLR panel, and they work, but there’s no communication between Voyager switch and plugin switch. Is there somekind of filter in action here?

              THanks
