OK, it could be a size limit thing.

I just tried a small file and that worked fine.

My new updated DX11 Panel is 3.7mb which is below the 16mb limit that is stated but still ???

UPDATE: Yep anything over approx 1mb is giving me an HTTP Error

3.7mb sounds very large for a bpanelz file, but sounds about right for a panel file. Are you exporting the panel as compressed binary and resources?

Yep, it’s the ‘Compressed Binary + Resources’

It’s as big as it is, what can I say?

I could slim it down a bit by reusing more of the same graphics, switching to lower quality .jpg instead of .png, etc but that’s a lot more work for me and I’ll never get it under 1mb.

So my point is that there seems to be something wrong with the WordPress settings?

My C-PLG150-AN panel weighs in at 1.4mb and my JD-990 panel under 1mb. I consider both to contain a lot of code i.e they are complex. It’s hard to imagine your panel being almost 3x the size (but of course I haven’t seen it), so I wonder if you have extraneous image files in the APPDATA folder that got included, like a psd file or tiff file or something? Your last panel was 999KB right?

OK, I’ve optimsed some of the larger graphics and got the file size down to 1.8mb

I still get the HTTP Error !

Thinking about it, I could optimise further as I use a lot of the same background image but just at different sizes, if I just use one large image then ‘stretch to fit’ in all cases I can get away with just the one background image only?

But there still seems to be something wrong with the Worpress Settings, can you confirm that you cannot create a Download any bigger than 1mb?

I wouldn’t bother to cut down the panel in order to being able to upload it here. Just use google drive, ms one drive or something similar. I think google drive is very nice, you get 15gb of free space. Google won’t delete your data after while like other free cloud services.

From my experience 1mb is the limit. That’s why I don’t/can’t post the plg150an panel here, as I said it is 1.4mb, but host it on SourceForge.

Ah ok, it just confused me because it quite clearly states the limit is 16mb in the Download Window!

                      Cheers, as always.
