      Hi,
I’d like to create my editor, but I’m terribly frustrated.
The first thing I wanted to do is simply placing a background image on a layer via uiImage.
As you know many users had the problem with missing resources on the dropdown menu.
I tried all suggestions on this forum but nope.
Is there a way to make it work?

I have Mac OS High Sierra and trying with Ctrlr 5.3.163 and 5.3.198
WARNING: all suggestions on this forum failed.
      Thanks

        Hi hanshoffnung,

This panel was created on Windows 5.3.201.

Does it work in 5.3.198? I believe that is the most stable version for Mac.

        See attached.

          Thanks,
when i open it, it works, but as soon as I try to add my images, they don’t appear in the list. And if I change the UID all images disappear. I suppose that it has to do with the system used by Ctrlr to manage versions and the folder in the preferences that does weird things like deleting it’s content as soon as you save the panel with another name and UID
So the result is that it doesn’t work.

It’s a well known bug. You can try this old version here:

But I’d suggest to develop panels on windows. There are highly developed windows-vm’s on macos. Panels done with the recommended windows build do work very well on mac.
