hej there,
i have just recently found this app and i have to say its a real great alternative to mq. but there is one bug i have to fight with atm…
when i open the au in logic pro 9 (listet under incompatible plug ins btw.) i can see the gui, when midi through is checked i can play some notes, use the pitchbend and so on; but i cant use any of the other knobs or sliders, they just dont have any effect on the sound. i´m not sure if this is a fail on my side or on ctrlr´s side.
i have downloaded the latest version, but since it wasn´t possible for me to find the jx8p paneel in there i also downloaded the plugin from here ->

June 30, 2011 at 12:16 am #1988thank you ! i see…so where can i get a jx8p panel for v5?
June 30, 2011 at 12:31 am #1989You’d have to build a panel yourself or get someone to.
The ones currently built or being worked on are here :
viewforum.php?f=61June 30, 2011 at 12:38 am #1990too bad.. i guess i´ll have to spend some money on mq10. anyway, thanks for the info.
June 30, 2011 at 12:41 am #1991jx8p panel is quite simple with a little work you can get one running in hours.
June 30, 2011 at 12:41 am #1992i actualy have a JX8p so a panel for it will be done by me unless someone else does it before me.
June 30, 2011 at 12:42 am #1993Have you looked into ctrlr at all? The whole thing about v5 is being able to build panels quickly and easily, no coding necessary.
June 30, 2011 at 12:46 am #1994well, i´m a musician and making music is pretty much all i want to do. i´m not made for that kind of stuff…even if its easy to do, i wouldnt spend any time on it.
thanks again.
June 30, 2011 at 12:49 am #1995woohoo, i made the 1000th post…

cheers sonoro[/quote:2pa07w2p]I have exactly the same issue!!!!! Can someone kindly just help with this problem. PLEASE!?
July 5, 2011 at 9:09 pm #1997those are very old build of Ctrlr v4 witch is completly outdated and not supported, a lot of stuff never worked in those builds that’s why you are getting problems.
I know that Ctrlr v5 does not have all theese panels that v4 has, but i can’t help with that at the moment since i only have enough time to actualy code v5 and i’m leaving the panels to the community, at some point i’ll do some panel work but i need to finish up what i started first.sorry for that.
August 15, 2011 at 7:42 pm #1998the v4 AU has the midichannel wrong. so you have to set the jx8p to midi receive: 2 and the AU to midi transmit: 1.
Then the midi channel match the device ID (normally in jx’s case: midichannel = device ID).
I discovered that when comparing what the AU is sending and what sounddiver was sending.hello btw, ctrlr is a supergreat project, will contribute!! ” title=”Smile” />
