I’m really enjoying this app if you can tell. hehewhats next? hmmm debating between The Ensoniq SQ2 or the Korg M3r….
both would truly benifit from a good controller surface.June 23, 2011 at 9:46 am #944hi … im new here, very cool program!
im goin to try a controller for my kawai k1 … should be very similar to the k4 without the filter? can i have a look at your panel?
if that works i would love to do one for the microwave v2.0 the king of wavetables. thats a different beast all together.

If you mean a microwave II, that should be identical on the midi level to the microwave XT, for which msepsis has made an excellent panel already….June 23, 2011 at 1:08 pm #942no, i mean the microwave I with system 2.0 with analog filters… i cant find any sysex specs for the parameters of the k1m. should be somewhere because there is also an editor.
June 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm #941I’d be really interested in a Microwave 1 panel…
June 23, 2011 at 6:34 pm #940yes, many are really interested, but there is no good free editor for win around. maybe because its 200 parameters? somebody here started one?
June 23, 2011 at 6:49 pm #938care to share?
June 23, 2011 at 7:13 pm #939of course. but i want to do something simple first so ill start with the kawai k1m. thats also a very nice 8 bit wavetabe synth. i need one working example of a synth that i have but most of the panels are gone. whats with the jx-8p i have that one?
June 25, 2011 at 1:26 pm #945Sorry, I was talking to the OP!
June 30, 2011 at 11:27 pm #946@ lilakmonoke & dnigrin –
you can find the notes on software rev II for the original microwave out there. I believe it is on the waldorf ftp site. . I would be more than happy to collaborate and build a starting point with the original microwave docs I have. I used to have one that died, sadly, but would love to get my hands on another and build a similar panel for the original microwave some day.Monstrum Media | Music, Sound & Software Design, Chicago / San Francisco listen

October 18, 2011 at 8:42 am #949Hey,
Nice work you’ve done.
I found all the sysex infos needed for creating a kawai k1/k1m panel. Unfortunately, I think it’s only for the k1 and the k1m, according to this manual: http://www.soundprogramming.net/manuals … veList.pdf
So people owning a k1r will have to try it.I’m still a newcomer to Ctrlr, managed to find my way through the editor by looking into other panels, I believe a k1 panel won’t requires any Lua functions but I could be wrong… anyway, I’m a javascript programmer and I already know Lua so it shouldn’t be too much of a pain for getting anything working.
Also, I have to deal with knobman for the first time in order to create a cool panel.

October 18, 2011 at 8:49 am #950Hi, I´m new here. This software is a rescue for me, because MidiQuest doesn´t work correctly (not only for me …)
Please, it´s possible to download your K4 panel ?Sorry my English

October 18, 2011 at 9:31 am #951Oh man, don’t even mention MidiQuest, the k1 panel killed all my presets for a reason I clearly don’t know. Of course, I won’t complain as it wasn’t a legit version but for sure, I’ll never put a cent into it.
