The new installer format in the Downloads section is .run (it’s the same idea, a self extracting binary that you need to execute on your system). The change is that it contains both 64 and 32 bit binaries.

Also the source code and the build environment has been update to build without errors on Linux. There are build.sh scripts in the build directories, that generate PCH files and speed up the build a lot.

Let me know if that works.

        Hey atom!
Ctrl looks like the perfekt tool I really need!!! amazing idea, so I could use my hardware again.

But I can’t start it anyway… I started the .run with the terminal, this worked fine and extracted the files in the Ctrl folder. There I’ve got 2 files, the VST and the Standalone (64bit). Maybe there is no 32bit version????

        Version 1430 on Ubuntu 12.04

Have you thought about making a LV2 version?? That would be much more handy in the Linux world than a VST, of course 😉

Anyway thanks for the nice piece of software.

        All the best

I missed those 32 bit binaries somehow (maybe the packaging script is broken), i’ll fix that when i get home from work.

LV2 might be possible because i saw Jules@JUCE making a wrapper for that so LV2 builds could happen once that’s completed.

            thanks!!!
can’t wait to try it 😉
Do you know FalkTX, the guy behind kxstudio, he ported a lot of juce plugins to LV2 under the name “distrho”. Maybe he can do it for Ctrl was well?

The build is updated, both 32 and 64 bit binaries should be there.
