      Hello,

when I use ctrlr in standalone mode, the midi ports of my midi devices (I tried bcr2000, maschine, and LoopBe) are recognized (appear in green) and the template works.
when I use it in Live as a VST, the midi ports become red in the device manager/midi properties when i want to select them, and the midi data is not sent… however the ports are available and activated in Live.

      how can I fix this?

      Thx

      Ben

This is windows i assume, if the MIDI port is red it means Ctrlr couldn’t open the device. This means in 99% of cases that some other program is using that device (i assume that would be Live! in that case, have a look at the MIDI settings of Live and try to free the ports you want to use in Ctrlr)
