      Hello,
I am just started to “play” with Ctrlr.
I tried to go through “Getting started” guide, so a created a new panel and added some modulators (as described in the guide).
Eg. I set up the minimum value (-50) and maximum value (+50) for “Oscillator Fine Tune” (uiSlider). Then, I just save the panel and close, reopen Ctrlr with the panel. I can see that the min. value is set again to 0.0000 and max value to 127.0000.
Do I miss something or there is a bug…?
      I am using Win7/64 with Ctrlr v.1547
      Thanks & Best Regards
      Tall.

I just did that and it works, you need to remember to set it at the component level not at the modulator level. But it should work it’s a property like any other.

          Thanks!
Of course, I tried to change the values on the modulator level…
BTW, what is the reason to have such parameters updateable on modulator level?
          Best Regards

This represents how Ctrlr really works, the modulator layer is detached from the UI layer it does things underneath, you shouldn’t modify it if it has a UI layer attached because otherwise they won’t work together well.

There will be a situation (soon i hope) that modulators will be without UI (or controlled by other layers), but even then you’ll want to modify that new layer instead of directly interacting with the modulator.

I’ll try to make more of those properties ReadOnly so there is less confusion when starting.
