Replace modulator with

I could be cool if we could replace a modulator by another one without having to delete one and create the other.

Imagine you make a panel, have placed all modulators and later you realize for instance that where you had uiImageSliders now you want uiSliders. Having to redo all modulators would be tedious.

An option could be added in the right click menu when clicking a modulator to replace one kind of modulator by another kind, maintaining at least modulator and midi variables.

Don’t know how hard would it be for you, Atom.

I support this request. Would be also very convenient the other way around: one has developed (quickly) a panel using the standard sliders and knobs and want to replace them all afterwards with knobs and sliders made with Knobman…

This was how I initially planned this, but later on some problems occured and i left the idea of replacing components. With the current code base i can try to go back to this idea and see if the problems occur again.

I’ve added this option to the right click menu for components. Try it, let me know if it doesn’t cause mayhem.

At first glance it’s only missing “componentTabName” and “componentTabId” variables.
