This is from may last year, the v4 version is long gone and the devices supported are in the DDB page.php?p=ddb

              OK, thanks for reply.

How could I convert the old v4 MKS70 to a new v5 panel?

Or if that’s not doable, would it be possible for someone with an osx compiler to build an AU version of the v4 MKS70? I don’t mind which version it is, as long as it works <img decoding=” title=”Smile” />

              Many thanks!

i’m pretty sure compiling Ctrlr v4 is now impossible without some major modifications, assuming you want to use the latest JUCE code, if you use the old JUCE tree it could be done.

OK – what would be the correct svn/git trees for Ctrlr v4 and JUCE to compile the MKS70 AU without modifications?

I’ve got Xcode 4.1 that comes with OSX Lion – do I need anything else?

                  Thanks!

You need JUCE from the git repository or one of the ZIP files here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/juce/files/juce/ and the MKS70 source here http://ctrlr.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/C … -%20MKS70/

However my suggestion is to get v5 and re-create the panel for the MKS70 based on the XML data from v4 http://ctrlr.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/C … /MKS70.xml it’s dead simple no bit mangling nothing really hard.

will try recreating the MKS70 and also a cheetah MS6 in v5 next week, it seems to be the way forward.

One more question – do you know if Novation’s Automap wrapper works with ctrlr v5? I’m thinking of buying a midi controller with knobs and sliders to control my hardware synths via CTRLR – wondering which one to go for

                        thanks!
