      so… i could just say to hell with Roland’s performance mode, but lets just say I want to set a few imageSliders to send a multimessage if some puppet null modulator’s value is set to 2, but just a sysex message using global variables if that puppet modulator’s value is set to 0 or 1. . .

        you can do that in LUA, have a look at the CtrlrModulator class, api/class_ctrlr_modulator.html you can read all stuff from it, and do all sort of actions based on those values.
        You can also set modulator’s MIDI properties from LUA, so it’s all there you just need to put the blocks together.
