      Hi Guys,

I’m not sure if this question belongs in this thread but I’ve been using the Slim’XTC for my slim-phatty, which is in a midi chain with a Korg EX800 and a TX7.

The only problem I’m facing is that whenever I use the Ctrlr-Slim’XTC as standalone, I ‘m able to control all the knobs but the voice-browser. The only way to change voices is to turn the knob of the hardware synth. Anyone having the same problem?

        Hello,

This is an hardware limitation : voice browser knob does not send or receive any midi message. The only way is actually to turn the knob manually.

          Thanks for your reply!

For other users with the same problem: I found out that it IS possible to browse voices in Midi OMNI mode, but that the knobs of the other panels influence the Slim’XTC buttons too. So i guess you have to make a choice, and both choices come with a limitation 😉

          Cheers!
