I now there has been no info from me (or no new builds) but my favorite corporation has flooded me with work (right now it’s 2 AM and i’m fixing some goverment web services).

Anyway i’ve doing some work anyway, some bugs have been fixed some of the requested features have been added. I’m waiting to finish the basic LUA funcions that i’ve been working on, before i do a build.

I’m also considering a "nightly build" feature for all you impatient guys.

One major update will be the option to use the Plugin Wrapper for all plugin versions (the one that is loaded when using Live on Windows), it will fix one big issue on the MAC, it will allow me to use the latest JUCE library (the mouse down bug). I have been using some older revision of JUCE and some fixes that have appeared in the library can’t be move to Ctrlr, i’d like to remedy that. This will be optional, but on the MAC i think it has to be used to go around the Mouse Down bug. I’ll write how to deal with that when i do the build, i just want to prepare you guys for that.

Anyways, hows it going ?

Doing great atom. Thanks for the update. Keep up the great work you’ve been doing. I’ve sent a small donation to support your efforts.
I’m looking forward to the next update!

Quick question about the LUA update. Will it by chance include the ability for one modulator to read the value from another modulator and send a bitstream message based on those combined value as specified by a formula?

well it will be possible to read/write any property of any modulator, so yes any variation is possible, it will be up to you.

quite awesome. I feel like I’ve bought a new synth with all this at-my-fingertips control of every parameter in the microwavext since building that panel.. haven’t been bored at all!

no rush with pushing out builds-in-progress, I think the more ctrlr matures it’s better to put out builds that are stable and a bit refined instead of a more daily build schedule! I’ve seen a freaking TON of progress within ctrlr since April, it’s amazing how far it has come.

sounds like the next rev with all the Lua stuff turned on will be quite a huge step.. we all are anxious but don’t rush it, and good luck with your other workload!!

cheers
