should be simple it’s all NRPNs, once i get over with the stuff i started, i’ll get to it. it’s in the queue (i’d love to get one too, though i always wanted a ProOne).

coooollll, so i’ ll be soon able to control all my DSI synths!!
          thanks a lot again
hope you won’t have trouble with the multimode function in the tetra(four voices can have 4 midi channel, one per voice, i dont know how the vst will deal with that(4 independant mono synths), the combo mode has 4 different voices (programs) but on 1 midi channel !

well it can be easy or very hard. if i build one surface (one tetra voice), then doing 4 is no different (since i just make 4 instances of the same component), the midi channel should be simple. once i get to the actual work i’ll see how hard it really is, but i’m not expecting any real trouble, i’ve been through some really messed up MIDI implementations and DSI makes them really clear and nice (maybe apart their weird sysex dump format witch is really idiotic), the manuals are nice and precise (not like Yamaha manuals or Roland manuals).

that sounds good, i’m sure you ll get it! i just know that soundtower is waiting for an OS update of the tetra by DSI to be able to have their soft working with the multimode, but it still won’ t be a VST anyway…. i dont know if this next OS update of the tetra will be nessecary for you to make the vst?

if a standalone version can exist (and it can) a VST can also exist. VST is the same thing as standalone with the parameters exported to the host, you could propably make a Quake3 VST plugin and automate throwing greneades with CCs, it’s really very simple.
