      Thanks. I’ll look into that.
The ESQ-1 panel crashes the synth if you move parameters too quick whereas the SQ-80 works but only with the mouse. I can’t midi map it to a knob controller. When I look at the SQ-80 panel messages, it just sends CC99 and CC98 once, then a string of CC6 messages until you choose another knob.
Ideally there is a way to do that with a single slider/knob.

      Any help is appreciated.

      Thanks again.

        Great.
I have been keeping an eye out for the update. Did you ever work our the issue? I tried loading some older versions of CTRLR to see if the program snapshot menu was there, and it is on older versions, but I do not get the program snapshot manager where it lists the programs so you can re-name them and such.

Thanks, and I donated to the OSX build fund!

          Thanks Atom.

Did you ever get a chance to look into this?

            In case this isn’t clear…

Shouldn’t there be a menu/submenu called ‘Snapshots’ under the ‘Programs’ menu which then gives me a list of the snapshots I have saved with names like ‘Snapshot – xx:xx:xx’.

It does not exist on my MAC version 5.3.163. Is this a glitch or was it removed from CTRLR entirely?

This makes me wish I hadn’t sold my D-110. It was a bear to program. Keep up the good work.

                Thanks Puppeteer.

I have been reading the document you mentioned, waiting for it to soak in, but I think it is beyond me. From what I can tell, the code you have seems to operate on the input.

I tried copying it into a panel and watching the midi monitor to see I it re-arranged bits on the knob SYSEX message, but it did nothing as far as I could tell.

Is anyone interested in helping me design the Lua script for this panel? Once the Lua code is written I should be able to have it apply to all the components, right? Hopefully an ASR-X owner who can benefit from me doing the leg work.

                Any help?

I created a panel for the DSS-1 and the DSS-1X (upgraded by Straylight Engineering). Check my blog here:

                    Thanks,

I have been looking around for info on how to code that, but haven’t had any luck. Or maybe it is way over my head. Is there some sort of Lua for dummies?
What would the Lua function look like?

                      Thanks Puppeteer,

That is how I work with CTRLR for my mono synth as well, but I was trying to avoid having to program a panel with 16 channels (each on a different tab) due to the overwhelming number of VST indexes that would be needed. I use Ableton on a Mac and it doesn’t like to control too many knobs (when the VST index is over 64 things get wonky), although this could be related to CTRLR. I recall reading about having to set the Max number of VST indexes.
Anyway, it just seems like a hassle to program 16 separate tabs. I hoped to be able to plop a CTRLR plugin on each midi channel, but that too has been causing issues with repetitive VST indexes. The alternative of having a channel select on the panel makes it difficult to have recall on parameters too.
                      More exploring…

                      Again, Thanks for your input.
                      Cheers,
                      Nick
