How are you building Ctrlr on Fedora?
As m.tarenskeen I have not been able to build it on Linux yet.

Typo?
./scripts/get-juce.sh
./scripts/projuce-lin.sh
./scripts/build-lin.shThese do not exist. There is a
Scripts/
directory, but it only containsgen_rsrc.sh post-commit git-revision.sh
The DLL seems to work ok in Carla. I do get some dialog windows that only have an [ok] button and nothing else, but I can change settings and flick through the presets (didn’t try too many things yet).
I think the overview is a bit less than the JV-XP. With all the different tabs and envelopes that don’t show any picture an feedback (I know the JV-envelopes are kind of weird anyway).
But good job so far. Now make me a native linux version š
Nice! I have two jv-1010’s and one jv-1080.
Can I request a linux build, and otherwise at least the vst (dll) version for windows? (that I could try to run in carla plugin host)
The JV-XP Editor looks pretty complete, and works ok with wine. However I’ve been having some issues with it: https://ctrlr.org/jv-xp-editor-for-roland-jv1080-jv2080-xp30-xp50-and-xp80-series-synthesizers/comment-page-2/#comment-3154
I will try to run your .exe with wine
How are you dealing with the 1010 and lack of patch dump?
I’ve been idling in #ctrlr on irc.freenode.net for many years now.
Yesterday a random user found the channel, so not all hope is lost.If we’d have some more people hanging out and chatting we may even grow a little community around it.
Compared to the ‘new’ Wise Chat we have over on the bottom right IRC is much more useful (imo), so it would be nice to have some more folk idling and talking music/gear/ctrlr/programming in there š
Cool! I hope to dust off my S2000 soon and have a go at it š
This already looks great pascalc!
Unfortunately I’m having some issues with Ctrlr/JUCE on my home computer, but I hope to dive in to your panel soon.
cheers on your current progress š
Wow, this is very cool. Thanks for the hard work goodweather!
Hopefully this can grow in to a more complete and generic guide to building panels š
(I will definitely take it as a guide for my coming endeavours)Some sort of screencast (series) would be fantastic indeed!
Either way, for us still struggling to build things using Ctrlr some proper documentation of each step is a good way to condense your own knowledge and what you are learning.
Maybe we can set up a wiki with some guides on many of the common problems and design issues?
Hey Hecticcc, how have you progressed on this panel?
I’m getting an s2000 soon and am very interested in using Ctrlr with it.
How have things gone on the FB-01 front?
Any test-panels available?Yes please!
My MT-32 needs a nice panel to interface with š
^ same here. Just got an FB-01 and ran in to Ctrlr recently.
Would love to cooperate to see a nice panel for this synth.
Have you gotten anywhere yet? Also if anyone is interested iām back on IRC @ freenode #ctrlr just thought iād mention if anyone wants to scream at me or something
Yes please.
It’s awfully quiet in there ..
