I’d also like to note I’m having difficulty as well. I’ve just started up CTRLR (I haven’t been on this site in a year) and was hoping I could edit my JX-3P over a midi-uno. Nothing. I can see in the midi monitor it receives but it doesn’t seem to send. I wasn’t sure if it was the midi-uno so I switched over to my mopho keyboard which is set up through USB. Nothing there either. I’ve got all my controllers selected as ON in the midi window. Any help?
EDIT: Actually I may have figured it out. Do you have to add which device the controller is editing in the toolbar? I added in two pieces that both say the device’s name. I’m in business on the mopho.
EDIT 2: Still having trouble with the PG-300… could it be because of my midi-uno? Or perhaps there’s a setting to be changed on the synth?
EDIT 3: I’m an idiot. PG-300 is not for JX-3P.
any new ctrlrs in the works?
on my computer i was deleting the .xml in favor of a .panel extension but it was still saying .xml… i had to click info and delete the extension from the actual info filename. now it works.
could you upload it as a zip? for some reason, when i download it, it downloads as an XML and when i change the extension, ctrlr still doesn’t like it, it only likes it if it’s zipped.
EDIT: Nevermind. FINALLY figured it out. damn computer hides the XML format… ;(
gettin’ so antsy waiting for this…
whatever works. i’m just excited to try. looks like you put in alot of good work. i’m glad i’ll be able to use the tetra’s nice sequencer with ease.
i definitely think your setup is perfect with an added button or two for combo, and then 4 tabs for each voice.
looks awesome. very excited to try it.
thanks for posting this. again, i’m getting a weird thing that doesn’t let me open it as a panel, even though i change the file extension
just as a general request, if anyone else posts their panels, could you please zip it first? thanks!
on my mac it still tells me it’s an xml and ctrlr won’t recognize it as a panel

The panels include components for pretty much all of layer a’s program parameters. I think the only one I left out are breath and foot mod controls. Check ’em out.[/quote:2edma1cz]for some reason these downloaded as XMLs for me. how can i make them panels? i think i tried to before but CTRLR didn’t open them. thanks!
Wren,
Thanks for the OS update!Wren, the tetra is now responding. Thanks.
Where do I get the OS 1.4? i remember trying to update it but it said something about not working over USB?
Also, Wren, there are a ton of pages in the back with numbers. Which do you use for NRPN?EDIT: nevermind i just might wait for yours if you don’t mind ” title=”Smile” />
minimalist, I’ve set my device to DSI Tetra via USB in devices and it’s still not receiving messages. What do you do for this problem?
also, it seems to crash a bit when it receives midi messages too. no idea why though. i’m using the standalone.minimalist,
please let me know when you finish your panel. I’d be curious to try it since i haven’t had time to figure out my own yet.
thanks!I tried using the decimal CC number for my tetra but it doesn’t seem to be receiving. I selected it in the midi in and out, and placed a knob, set it as a midi CC for filter cutoff and the tetra doesn’t seem to be responding. Any help?
