Hi…the keyboard was touch sensitive, so it would not be just a simple pair of copper contacts. However, I don’t remember exactly how the keyswitches were made on it, probably didn’t go into them. Most keyswitch designs are subject to very small flakes of dirt or other contaminants; and are generally repairable fairly easy as long as care is taken in disassembly and reassembly. My firm was an Authorized Service Center back then for Yamaha, they may well still have any parts that might be needed.
