I run with both of these panels opened at the same time and tab between them as necessary. I had used the rotary knob originally and I personally quite liked it. My son liked the fact that you could press along the knob and go instantly to that point, but stated that all other VST’s he had worked with used the rotary vertical knob control, which is what it uses now.
Also I added to popup bubble to the main panel, not the Under the Hood panel. Not sure whether to keep them or not.
And still a bit unsure of whether to go back to just rotary. In the future I will make one of the panels use the rotary and keep the other rotary vertical as current.
I look forward to constructive comment and recommendations. This is my first attempt at creating anything remotely like this, so a bit of fun for me.

Thanks dsafaker. Atom, 1225 has fixed the getMidiMessageType and it now shows that type 5 returns zero length items. I am guessing that type 5 means SysEx, is that true??? Anyway, the SysEx messages are still not working.

Atom, if you looked at my reply to this you will note that I get 3 bytes also on cc messages from my knobs on the Minitaur when I turn them. What I do not get is SysEx messages when I inquire to the Minitaur about the firmware version or ask for parch information.

I know he is working on this issue as I was on chat with him when I was getting it. I cannot say ALL messages received are zero, but I can confirm that cc midi messages appear to work while the sysex ones do not. Can you confirm that behaviour dasfaker?

I will get back to you soon on this. I had it working for a while then it quit. I will be getting it working again soon though I hope.

I received the XML file you posted thanks. The panel itself does not load at all, but no concern as I have now built my own Minitaur panels that follow the Minitaur 2.0 Editor fairly close. Once all is done, I will make it available. Thank you once again.

I still do not see anything here to download. I expected a link somewhere around the EDIT: V1.4 but nothing. If I click on the Panels menu above and select the Moog Minitaur, it yields an error screen. Please help with this. Thanks in advance. If it is easier to just send me the information, please send to stoner@who.net. Thanks.
