New CSD rules for car purchase 2020 have been issued by the Indian Army. These most recent orders will take effect on June 1, 2019.
Veterans with pay levels 10-18 (including retired) and their widows would be able to buy a four-wheeler worth up to INR 12 lakh (excluding GST) just once every eight years under the new rules. The four-engine wheeler’s capacity should not exceed 2,500 cc. Veterans with pay levels 3A to 9 (including retired) and their widows will be able to buy a four-wheeler twice: once while their service and once after they retire.
