  • Account Type: IMAP

  • Port: 993 (or select 143 if 993 is not available or does not work)
  • User Name: your user name or Comcast email address
  • Connection Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: Password

Comcast Xfinity POP Incoming Settings 

  • Incoming Account Type: POP
  • Username: Comcast Xfinity email account address
  • POP server Hostname: pop3.comcast.net
  • POP server port: 995 with SSL
  • AUthentication: Yes, PAssword
  • SSL/TLS: Allowed/ Yes

Comcast Xfinity STMP Outgoing Server Settings

  • Account Type: STMP
  • Server Hostname Name: smtp.comcast.net
  • Insecure Port Port: 587 (or select 465 only if n587 is not available or does not work)
  • STMP secure port: 25
  • Username: Your complete Comcast Xfinity email address
  • Connection Security: STARTTLS (or SSL/TLS on port 465)
  • Authentication: Password

The POP incoming server protocol is the old incoming email server type that had been replaced by IMAP. However, if you choose to use POP protocol, it can sometimes show up issues in letting you check your mailbox (and emails) on different devices.
