      Hi

      Hope that someone can tell me where I’m going wrong.

      I’m creating a panel for the Waldorf Pulse Plus and I’m having issues with the oscillator semitone control.

      The parameter has a value range of -48 to 48 yet the actual values output by this parameter is between 16-112 (no idea why they didnt just use 0-96).

      I’ve already established that I need to use the fixedslider and then populate the slider contents with the following:

      -48=16
      -47=17
      -46=18
      -45=19
      -44=20
      -43=21
      -42=22
      -41=23
      -40=24
      -39=25
      -38=26
      -37=27
      -36=28
      -35=29
      -34=30
      -33=31
      -32=32
      ..
      47=111
      48=112

      This almost works. the synth parameter can control the modulater between the following ranges -32 to 48 but not below -32

      Any ideas why this may be?

      I’ve got the Oscillator tune control working fine. This has a range of -32 to 31, outputting the values between 0-126 (increments in 2 rather than 1). This works fine but not the semitone control.

      Help!

      Thanks
      R

        Maybe there is a bug in the midiimplementation of the pulse. I would look how other editors did it. For example here is a vst plugin: http://jeruro.blogspot.ch/.

          Hi Possemo

          Thanks for replying.

          It’s not a pulse bug. The values it outputs when below -32 are correct. The lowest (-48) being hex 10 which is what the manual says (value range is 16 to 112).

          If it is a bug then it’s with ctrlr however I’m probably doing something wrong although the fact the tune control works makes me think I’m doing it right.

          Is there a limit to how many values you can have in the slider contents box?
