midi channel inactive

Hi,

oSX 10.9.3
Ctrlr application all versions

i’m trying tu use Ctrlr for the first time, and i have a problem with the midi exclusives messages.

on the JX8P panel
i’ve selected the right device and midi output (channel 6 in my case)
when i use a button who send a CC controller everything is OK, the synth is modified.
the message of the midi monitor :
[Controller] Ch:[ 6] No:[ 1] Val:[ 1] RAW:[b5 01 01]

But when i try to use a button who send an exclusive message, nothing happens.
The message of the midi monitor say there is no midi channel selected.
[System exclusive] Ch:[–] No:[—-] Val:[—-] RAW:[f0 41 36 00 21 20 01 22 69 f7]
but i’ve really select the right channel and midi port on the midi menu.

i’ve tried 3 different versions, the AU plugin, same problem.

any solution ?

it sounds like an issue with the JX8P panel, or possibly a version control issue – I’d check the description of the panel and if possible use the version of ctrlr the panel was saved with

finally i’ve found a solution, in editing the panel.
i’ve modified the “midiMessageChannelOverride” to force the midi channel
and define the “midiMessageChannel” to 6.

and everything is OK !
i don’t know why… but it’s OK
