      Hi there,

      Soooo I got myself an Oberheim Matrix 1000 and upgraded it to version 1.20 as I wanted to control it from Ableton live 10.

      I want to use the Ctrlr VST (https://ctrlr.org/tag/matrix-1000/) The VST it is already installed and running.

      I use Windows 10 and a Behringer FCA1616 interface. The driver I use in Ableton to connect the interface is the ASIO one.

      Now, I have two questions/ problems to solve.

      1. The VST window is not fully visible in Ableton Live, I can only see 2/3 of it and there is now option to scale it up or down or to move around in any way. Anyone else had the same problem?

      2. How do I setup the VST routing to control the matrix parameters while sending midi notes to the matrix?

      Hope someone can help! Best

          You should be using version 5.3.201

            @dnaldoog: These are instances done with v5.3.201 – so no problems with Ctrlr versions here.

            : I haven’t seen your post. You should have sent me an email maybe I could have helped you. Now it’s probably too late and you have lost interest.

            : This is the same panel as prple talks about. The vsti does not work equally well on all DAW’s and you have to set it up correctly. Have you read this?: http://roet32.wixsite.com/ctrlr/tutorials

              @possemo

              ive had another go with the vst , the ctrl pannel is a bit jerky but using the device sliders in the plugin part of ableton is really smooth and can record and write the controller info . perfect

              thanks so much for taking the time on this , it really brings life into the matrix 10000

                I guess you are on MacOs. In this case you should use the AU-Plugin. To my experience the sliders should move a bit smoother. Ableton is able to use both vsti and au.
