      Hey,

So after struggling figuring out how to calculate Roland checksums in Logic’s environment in order to achieve some MIDI device editing (Logic’s implementation of this is broken in sysex faders) I found someone else mentioning Ctrlr and I ended up here.

Within a couple of hours I had achieved the beginnings of what I wanted to achieve that would have taken forever in Logic, so I really pleased with the possibilities of Ctrlr.

Not new to programming, MIDI, sysex (I first wrote a Kawai K1 editor back for the Atari ST) and various SoundDiver adaptions.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks for Ctrlr, and that I will probably be asking some questions soon (some stuff that I figured should be easy are just baffling, Ctrlr doesn’t have the simplest of learning curves!)

There’s a few of us in the same boat, so keep the discussions going here and hopefully we can build our knowledge quickly.
