thanks atom. It would be nice to have search+replace but it’s also really simple to simply copy/paste to/from ctrlr’s lua editor. Very low priority request.
On the topic, I’ve noticed that there are minor focus issues w/ the Lua editor.. sometimes the editor is open, but behind the main window, and hitting the edit button in the main interface to edit a script does not bring the lua editor to focus. Minor, I’m used to it, but thought I’d bring it up. here are a couple other things.. again all really low priority but I thought I’d raise them here…
-If you’re thinking of expanding the lua editor, another reason I find myself copying/pasting is to print long scripts. Maybe it’d be nice to be able to print scripts from ctrlr’s lua editor?
-Thought about how it might be nice to actually save each lua script as a file in a folder? Probably mostly useful just to be able to easily access them from another text/code editor.. but also could be useful when referencing scripts from other panels.. probably not worth the mess it’d create though. (dependencies vs 1 bpanelz file)..maybe nice to be able to export/import scripts to/from .lua txt files? Just a brainstorm.
-Open scripts from editor – right now, unless I’ve completely missed it, there is no way to browse/open scripts directly from within the Lua editor. this would be the nicest feature add of all these suggested.
Overall, mostly the ctrlr lua editor is fine for most jobs, these requests are really low priority but they’re on my side-notes so I thought I’d mention.
