Ok so I wanna make an editor for my prophet 5 rev.3. The rev.3 doesnt do midi cc but has sysex as far as I understand – and it is evident that others has done controllers for this analog bastard ie SoundQuest – so it must be possible

And yes im a noob!What I do know is that that the string has to start with F0 01 01 and then well?!

Take the already working editor, hook it up to some virtual MIDI cable and see what the editor is sending when you edit parameters, reverse engineer it.
Hi good idea – I would love to be able to do that – but the problem is that I for some reason I cant open the demo for midiquest – ive been mailing back and forth trying to solve the problem but for some reason my mac cant see specific files in the upstart of the program –
