Sure. It’s 5,5 Mb
Thx Atom. But it failed again, showing the message "Can’t move uploaded file to destination directory…"
Hi Atom
I’m still having problems uploading the Virus panel. None of the options work for me (I even can`t delete it). Could you delete yourself the panel from the DDB so I could make a fresh upload?
Thanks in advance
I’m having new problems uploading the panel.
If I upload the panel clicking on Update only, when I download the panel it’s only 8 Kb (it should be more than 5 Mb)
And when I try to upload the panel clicking in Upload, I get this error message:
[quote:38nf5ssa]
[Info][21:52:38:101.000]: CtrlrDeviceDbRPC::run end, rawResponse below:
[Info][21:52:38:101.000]: ["__error","nCtrlr::doPost() Can’t move uploaded file to destination directory [/home/project-web/ctrlrv4/htdocs/ddb/items/fbee904b55a571a9441a3163ee953748]n"][/quote:38nf5ssa]In both cases I check Overwrite Items…
May be this problem has to do with the failed first upload?
Everything should work except the bank arrangement (I think is different from the Snow) and the outputs (the Snow has fewer outputs).
Yes, the DDB URL I got is http://ctrlr.org/ddb/
Hi Atom
I’m trying to upload a panel to the DB following your instructions and I get this error message:
[i:3rqa51jf]Failed to post item to DDB: Response parse error: Syntax error: "<?xml version="1.0" "[/i:3rqa51jf]
Any idea? Thx and great update, BTW
In my experience, when a panel crashes Ctrlr when opening a panel is because some LUA code is wrong. Try to open the panel with a txt editor and fix/remove the wrong code if you can find it.
This panel is meant to replace Virus Control and use the Virus not as a Vst, but as a normal midi synth. The panel uses the Virus Midi in/out, not the usb connection. When you use Virus Control (vst mode) the midi in/out are disabled.
Thx both !!
To be honest, all I know to do in Ctrlr is thanks to Atom examples and your two panels.
The panel is no finished, but I anyone find it useful, here it is.

The scripts aren’t commented, so if you have any question ask me.
By the way, has anyone here a Virus TI to test the panel?
Yes, same here on Windows XP. Completly ramdom crashes, even in idle.
With no midi inputs and outputs selected seems to crash fewer times.
Thx for your fast reply ” title=”Wink” />
Yes, the buffer size is 524. I’ve tried accesing data from the beggining of the dump, from the middle, reducing the range to avoid what you say and still crashes. And as I said before, the same dump works with the same code in a previuos Ctrlr version (632), it receives the dump and assign each byte to each modulator, so ranges must be ok. Something must have changed from this version to 677.
Tabs still don’t receive midi, only send.
