Piaggio’s aspirations to partner with Aprilia to enter the 250-300cc motorcycle market are nothing new. Diego Graffi, the company’s Managing Director, previously announced that the brand is planning motorcycles in the 250-300 cc range. Now, a new report claims that the planned motorcycle’s manufacture has been postponed.
The reason for the delay is unknown, however it could be tied to the creation of an entirely new platform to handle Aprilia’s 250-300 cc motorcycles. Though these items will be produced with India in mind, they will be of world-class quality and will be sold in a variety of worldwide markets.
