Hi atom just downloaded the new alpha juno controller. I can’t get to the preferences page when its open in logic 9.1.1 unless i open the standalone version and open the preferences in that. Takes a few moments of messing around with the buttons usually. Also it doesnt like if you open saved presets that have been saved using the save preset function in the logic bar seems to crash the midi not sure why there wasnt a problems before.

Apart from that seem a lot better then before standalone works fine and no graphic issues with this version. Just thought id report back here

      thanks Jamie

kay, the menu issue is something i can’t fix for now. I’ll have a look at the presets bug, loading a preset just re-opens the midi devices, cause the midi device settings are saved with each preset. But it should work, though i can imagine there are bugs i can’t imagine <img decoding=” title=”Smile” /> i’ll have a look asap. Tomorrow i’m going out for a weekend for a music festival so i’ll be back on sunday and do some work.

Been doing a bit more testing today a couple more things to add. When open in logic the audio input from the synth seems to be a bit buggy like sometimes it doesnt work so then if i turn an external instument midi channel on so i can here the synth suddenly i’ll get two signals as the input from the controller starts working. How does it pick up the input to the au plugin? Is there anyway to make a drop down menu to assign input?

Also pressing the omni button on the pluggin crashes logic straight away everytime.

            thanks Jamie

Ctrlr has no audio input now and no audio settings, if there are some audio settings on the AU track inside Logic, i say don’t use them. Ctrlr does not touch, read, write, or does anything with audio now. It is configured as a "SYNTH" plugin with a channel setup {2,2} (stereo in stereo out), it produces MIDI and accepts MIDI (though i don’t think accepting MIDI means anything in the mysterious AU world).

Thats a shame you cant make any settings for it because it does work it just needs a bit of help to find the input settings for some reason im not sure how it does it but it does it lol.

Would it be possible to have it so the plugin remembers where you saved you presets? Loading both types of preset files the xml and the logic files is very touch and go atm but this would be cool for a future update maybe.

                thanks Jamie

Hi i seem to be getting instant crashing in both stand alone and used inside logic using the newest build Logic 9.1.1 osx 10.6.4. (REVISION_1432)

also would it be possible to show the revision for each plugin on the downloads page if this isnt to much messing around?

                  thanks Jamie

1432 is very old, i’ll see if i included the Juno2 editor in yesterdays builds, if not will do a rebuild asap.

yes that’s what it’s there for, if the number is larger then 10 from your build on disk it usualy means you need to update, you can also press the check for updates button on the toolbar and it will tell you if there is something new.

And to answer the question, i didn’t add the revision numbers to file names cause GoogleCode won’t let me upload new files in place of old ones, i’d need to delete the file manualy and re-upload the new version, i have the build system automated, if the names are the same, the files are simply replaced. I’m thinking of moving the project management somewhere else cause google is not the best way to do it, but not yet.

well the downloads page here is just a frontend to google downloads, so it looks nice, but the actual files are kept on the google server. keeping them on my hosting server would be a big mistake cause it sucks.
