hi atom short bug report revision 1096

panel mode:
panel mode = ctrlr as dll and load a panel into the plugin
win7 64 reaper latest 32bit …however ” title=”Smile” />

– load panels in ctrlr all values are 0 ( knobs sliders ) combos are shown with not selected
set ctrlr itself to offline and again to online .. all values has the values where the panels was saved with …. is not even a real problem because if i save the trck as track template in reaper all vales are correct ” title=”Smile” /> …

– send snapshot after load wont work
send snapshot works if i press the snapshot button
snapshot send NOT works if i load the panel in a ctrlr
snapshot send NOT works if i set a ctrlr with loaded panel to offline and online again
snapshot send NOT works if i load a project with ctrlr and loaded panel
only works if i press manually the snapshot button
snapshot send after load was enabled ( by pressing red button and activate it , and i also checked the right property in edit mode )

vst mode ( load a exported vst )

– midi port problem 1
vst was crashing if i saved with changed midi ports ….. if i saved the vst with no midi selected it was not crashed
maybe because the selected midi port ( by pressing the red button ) differs from the panel property once .. because they did not realy update all the time … didnt find out right nosome rules

– midi port problem 2
– i saved the vst with no midi ports as vst
– load the vst in reaper
– select a midi port by pressing red button ( otherwise its not working ” title=”Smile” />
– save reaper project
– load reaper project .. midi port is reseted to no midi port ( because the vst was saved with this midi ports )

– modulators problem
save vst with e.g Knob A set to value 100
load vst ..value of Knob A shows 100 …juhu ” title=”Smile” />
change to value e.g 66
save reaper project
load reaper project … Knob A shows value 100 again ” title=”Sad” />

note1:
the init value problem on load a panel into ctrlr dont happen if i load the panel in text mode and not in binary mode …..

note2:
a toggle button did not calla lua script if the vst index is set to -1 … bug or not .. i guess i need to setup a vst index

also seeing that VST does not retain the settings for midi channel and controller port – adding to Ctrlr Bugs thread on sourceForge.

This should have been fixed, it was an issue with the preferences dialog breaking some settings.
