From time to time, ctrlr update after ctrlr update I notice ctrlr becomes a bit fragile, sometimes not launching, sometimes not closing gracefully, sometimes the app crashes/hangs while saving or exporting a panel. etc..

(I’m running the 64bit version of ctrlr on windows7 as recommended)

Usually the first method to tackle an issue like this is to clear all previous preferences… so I’ve been renaming/deleting the "ctrlr" folder from C:Users<myusername>AppDataRoaming to in effect trash the prefs.
This helps to get ctrlr up and running again… but are there any other locations where ctrlr prefs are stored?
      I
What always strikes me as odd is that after trashing the AppData/ctrlr folder and reopening ctrlr, then opening my panel (I save my panels with resources), I have to press/hold return through all the "resource already exists" messages….. how could the resources already exist if the folder containing the resource folder, which lived in Usersblah blahAppDataRoaming was deleted/removed?

Are there any other ctrlr preferences that should be trashed when updating ctrlr besides those I mentioned?

Do you recommend a practice other than saving panels with resources? I have to say today I noticed one of my knob resource files looked to be about 12 times the file size it really is on disk (according to the resource tab in ctrlr) .. I removed the resource then re-imported it and it seemed ok.

      Thanks!!!
looking forward to getting this panel all cleaned up and 467 compliant <img decoding=” title=”Smile” />

there is a special way to do this, when starting Ctrlr hold CTRL+R, it should clear stuff up, resources are in Ctrlr/resources folder, other then that they can be embedded in the panel file, i need to check if i didn’t make some silly mistake when importing resources from a panel file.
