      I have a Combo Box for selecting various FM sources and the combo contents are as follows :

      Off=0
      Osc 1=1
      Osc 2=2
      Osc 3=3
      Noise=4
      ….etc….

      I have set the midi message type to Sysex and set the formula as :
      F0 3e 13 00 20 00 00 15 xx F7

      No matter what I select in the combo box, the sysex output value of xx is always 00 , instead of being the value I have assigned them in the box contents.

        umm..

        It helps to have f-zero instead of f-O in the formula field
